BeRail guides Belgian train commuters in their trips by integrating the iRail Open Data API into a Sailfish OS app. BeRail can plan your trip, show the current disturbances and even store your favourite station. Watching birds with IoT

Birds.today, also known as #code9000, was an Open Summer of Code project in 2017 where we created an self-sustainable IoT installation to watch the biodiversity of birds on an island in the city of Ghent.

RGBWiFi

RGBWiFi is a Sailfish OS app to control your DIY WiFi RGB ledstrip. The RGB ledstrip is controlled by an Arduino based ESP8266 WiFi microcontroller. The source code and the instructions on how to build your own DIY WiFi RGB ledstrip are available on Github.

Sailbook

Sailbook is an unoffical Facebook client for Sailfish OS. Sailbook integrates the Facebook Mobile application into Sailfish OS with native notifications. You can download Sailbook from the Jolla Store or Openrepos.net. The source code is available on Github.

Smart Flanders

Smart Flanders was an Open Summer of Code project in 2018 to convince Flemish cities to publish their data as Linked Open Data. We created a tool for Flemish cities to create Linked Open Data of their buildings and created a blog about it.

traindelays.be

Traindelays.be was an Open Summer of Code project in 2019 to show what's possible with the Open Data from Infrabel. In this project, historical data about train delays were used to determine how good a certain connection is between 2 stations in terms of delays.
